Winterwoods Tea Company Marketing + Personal Assistant
10 hrs/week (hours could possibly increase as we grow)
Some hours on location in our tea studio in North Spokane and some virtually.
$15/hr plus sales bonuses
Assist owner Tirza with various tasks related to any of the three businesses falling under Winterwoods Tea Company (1. tea company, 2. brand marketing + consulting, 3. Airbnb Spokane retreats) including writing newsletter, managing social media and Pinterest, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, mailing packages during times we are extra swamped w/orders, coordinating photo shoots, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and being available for occasional on location help such as in the tea kitchen, Airbnb cleaning, farmers market help or on location photo shoot coordination.
Specific tasks include:
Work as sales manager for Winterwoods Tea Company maintaining a list of possible sales locations and opportunities, reaching out through email and cold calling to secure new accounts.
Set up and assist or work on own Winterwoods market booth at Wednesday night farmers market at Kendall Yards (approx 3:30-9:30 pm) from Aug 1 - Oct 10.
Make local wholesale deliveries.
Manage Pinterest marketing strategy.
Manage tea company website and make changes as necessary.
Plan, schedule, write and manage social media posts for brand marketing clients including responding and commenting.
Call and secure community sponsors and coordinate cross promotions for marketing clients as directed by Tirza.
Create simple graphics for online promotions.
Write marketing copy and content for websites, fundraising campaigns, email marketing newsletters and various marketing material.
Create and submit invoices to clients w/Quickbooks.
Must have high-speed Internet and dedicated business phone line or professional cell phone voicemail.
Excellent grasp of the English language, grammar and proven experience with the writing marketing copy. Must provide samples.
Experience with Pinterest, preferably as a marketing strategy.
Outgoing, friendly personality and experience and comfort with cold calling and pitching potential wholesale vendors.
Ability to juggle multiple clients and projects at same time.
Ability to use online project management software such as Trello to manage workflow and communicate with team members.
Flexibility with types of work (one day might include shipping tea orders, calling shop owners and cleaning Airbnb retreat).
Bachelors degree in business or marketing preferred.
